Established in 2005, Mega Power Systems, a minority woman owned business, was formed from the entrepreneurial mind of President Sarah Siddiqui. As a purchasing agent with an engineering and manufacturing firm, Sarah was intimately familiar with the frustrations of engineers who were tired of escalating prices on yesterday’s technology.

In direct response, Sarah formed Mega Power Systems. After 3 years of research and development, the Universal Test Switch™ line was introduced into the market. Engineered by a team of professionals with over 20 years of industry expertise, the UTS1™ (single ten pole switch) and UTS3™ (19” rack mounted three ten pole switch) provides engineers with fully customizable, innovative and affordable test switch options – saving up to 55% versus traditional offerings.
Customers include Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP).
Currently, Mega Power Systems is in the process of achieving 8(a) status and obtaining recognition by the Underwriters Laboratory Canada (cUL) for the Universal Test Switch.
